     Malin Akerman is an actress who was born in Sweden and raised in Canada.  She began her acting career in 1997 with minor roles in Canadian productions.  After appearing in The Utopian Society and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, Malin Akerman landed her first two leading roles for The Heartbreak Kid and 27 Dresses.  She played as Silk Spectre II in the 2009 film Watchmen and was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Role.  Malin Akerman is currently starred as Dr. Valerie Flame on the comedy series, Childrens Hospital.

     Malin Akerman's road to Hollywood's stardom was definitely a long and hard journey.  She did a lot of minor roles and wasn't given any opportunities for her first ten years as an actress.  Her persistence and perseverance has finally paid off when she was finally given a leading role in The Heartbreak Kid.  She would then get many more opportunities after showcasing her talents as an actress.  The beautiful Malin Akerman will have six films being released in 2012 and the biggest film is with Nicolas Cage in Stolen.
